On January 2, 2022 we left Central Florida and began 10 months of travel across the United States and Canada.
During the course of those 10 months (and November and December of 2022 back in Central Florida) we spent at last one night (our criteria for counting it as a state visit) in the following 21 states and 3 provinces of Canada:
Florida
Louisiana
Mississippi
Texas
New Mexico
Arizona
California
Oregon
Washington State
Canadian Provinces of British Columbia, Yukon, and Alberta
Alaska
Montana
Wyoming
Colorado
Oklahoma
Arkansas
Tennessee
Kentucky
West Virginia
Virginia
North Carolina
Georgia
In addition, we camped at the following during 2022:
National parks – 2
State parks – 26
Corps of Engineers parks – 8
RV resorts – 3
City/County parks – 3
Provincial parks – 3
Bureau of Land Management – 1
As well as various Cracker Barrel and shopping center parking lots, rest stops and Harvest Host businesses.
We put approximately 26,000 miles on Voyager and spent thousands of dollars on gas. The most we paid per gallon was the equivalent of $8 a gallon in Canada.
We saw such great sites as:
Caverns in Florida panhandle
Grand Canyon
Carlsbad Caverns
White Sands National Park
Palm Springs, California
Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
Visited with our friends Tim and Alan

Yellowstone National Park

Visited with our friends Heather and Richard
And many, many more attractions, activities and fun pastimes.
We have another year of travel ahead of us where we’ll be re-visiting some places we’ve already been, seeing some new places, and getting to see friends we haven’t had a chance to visit with in several years. We hope you’ll follow along with us in 2023!
