The remainder of our time at Rainbow Point Campground just outside of West Yellowstone, Montana was spent relaxing, walking Bella around Lake Hebgen, reading and writing. I also took the opportunity to use an axe for the first time that my step-son Jeremy gave me while we were in Redmond in June to chop some firewood. I kind of enjoyed burying the axe in a log with a mighty swing, then removing the axe and ripping the log in half with my hands. I felt like Steve Rogers in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Cindy was inside Nomad and I told her she missed the whole thing.
We really enjoyed our time here, walking around the town of West Yellowstone and visiting parts of Yellowstone National Park.
Next up: Alpine, Wyoming.
