Three Island Crossing State Park in Glenns Ferry Idaho June 14-15, 2025

We left Juniper Campground in Ririe, Idaho around 9:45 am on Saturday, June 14th and drove 5 hours to Three Island Crossing State Park in Glenns Ferry, Idaho for a one night stay. We don’t usually travel on weekends, but our compressed schedule for this part of our trip means we’re out driving with the masses (lol, I accidentally typed “asses” at first) on a weekend.

We were at this same campground almost exactly a year ago for a longer stay, so we had seen everything we really wanted to see back then. This stay is just a stopover. Cindy booked the same site we had last year as well. Back-in site with and asphalt pad that was not quite level with water and electric hook-ups.

It was a balmy 87 degrees, which was a tad warmer than we prefer but at least I wasn’t chilled, lol.

Since our stay was just one night we didn’t bother to unhitch from Voyager or open up the living room/dinette slide-out.

We ate dinner and streamed “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” on Netflix. I didn’t like it as much as the first Glass Onion movie, but it was OK. Then we read for a while and hit the sack early because we have another travel day on Sunday.

Thanks for following The Wandering Wetheringtons.
